IELTS is the premier English language test in the world and is recognized internationally by governments, universities and businesses. Whatever your reasons for taking the IELTS test, you are probably interested in improving your overall abilities in English, particularly your speaking and writing skills.

It is important to be familiar with the exam format but you must also have practice opportunities with an instructor in order to get constructive criticism and feedback. You cannot get useful feedback from free language websites on the internet.

Following an IELTS course with an instructor is therefore essential to your development and progress as a learner. The Speaking Test alone constitutes 25% of your final score on the IELTS, although it takes just 11 or 12 minutes. This is an area where most applicants need practice.

Time spent with a tutor can help you to improve your skills in a short time and to feel better prepared to take the IELTS test. The current fee for the test in Japan is ¥24,600 – isn’t it worth it to invest a small amount of money on private study with a qualified and experienced tutor?
